Jamia Naeemia organizes Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession
LAHORE, Aug 23 (APP):A procession was taken out under the auspices of Darul Uloom Jamia Naeemia on Sunday to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), with religious scholars,students and members of civil society participating.
The procession started from Jamia Naeemia, passed through Lahore Press Club and returned to its starting point.
Renowned religious scholar Mufti Imran Hanafi and other scholars participated in the procession. The participants raised slogans of “Aamd-e-Mustafa (PBUH), Marhaba Marhaba” along the route.
The police and traffic police made special security and traffic arrangements along the procession route.
Speaking on the occasion, Mufti Imran Hanafi said the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was being celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion.
