Municipal admin steps up efforts to improve DIKhan parks
Dera Ismail Khan , Aug 23 (APP):The Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO), Dera Ismail Khan, Abdul Rehman has directed concerned staff to accelerate cleanliness, landscaping and beautification activities in parks across the city to provide citizens with clean, green and pleasant recreational spaces.
During a visit to Haq Nawaz Park, the TMO reviewed ongoing sanitation, maintenance and administrative arrangements. Garden Supervisor Abdul Hameed Noor was also present on the occasion. The TMO inspected various works and supervised the activities on site, directing the staff to ensure proper cleanliness and maintenance of the park.
He emphasized that provision of a clean and healthy recreational environment to citizens was among the top priorities of the municipal administration. He directed the relevant staff to pay special attention to cleanliness, landscaping and the overall appearance of public parks.
Meanwhile, on the directions of TMO Abdul Rehman, Garden Supervisor Abdul Hameed Noor visited various parks in the city, including Haq Nawaz Park, Insaf Park, Town Hall, Nakhalistan Park and Center Media, and reviewed ongoing cleanliness and beautification activities.
The staff was directed to ensure regular cleaning, grass cutting, watering of plants and completion of other essential maintenance works. The garden supervisor also monitored the activities on site and instructed the staff to accelerate efforts to improve and maintain the parks’ greenery and overall appearance.
The municipal administration said that work to improve the condition of parks was being carried out on a regular basis, with particular focus on cleanliness, landscaping and provision of a better recreational environment for residents.
The ongoing measures are aimed at maintaining the city’s parks in a clean, green and presentable condition and ensuring that citizens have access to well-maintained public recreational facilities.
