MPAs call on CM,discuss political affairs,development projects

LAHORE, Aug 23 (APP):Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) from Lodhran called on Punjab Chief Minister(CM),Maryam Nawaz Sharif here on Sunday.
Political affairs, development projects and issues relating to their constituencies were discussed in detail during the meeting.
The delegation included MPAs Muhammad Zubair Khan and Shazia Hayat.
The legislators apprised the chief minister of public issues in their constituencies.
CM Maryam Nawaz directed the MPAs to continue working for the resolution of public problems.
The MPAs appreciated the completion of the Multan-Vehari Road and thanked the chief minister for launching the electric bus service in Lodhran.
They said the electric bus service on Shahida Islam Hospital, Dunyapur, Kachehri Chowk, Milad Chowk and Kehror Pakka routes was gaining popularity among the people.
The MPAs also appreciated the chief minister’s health initiatives, saying these had won public appreciation.
CM Maryam Nawaz said people from other provinces were also benefiting from Punjab’s hospitals and educational institutions. She said the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology in Lahore and cath labs in various districts were fully operational. She said Punjab would lead in technology-driven public services through the Punjab e-Bus and “Maryam Ki Dastak” portal initiatives,adding that the province had truly entered an era of development and technology.
