Seven members of five gangs involved in street crimes arrested in crackdown
RAWALPINDI, Aug 22 (APP):Police have arrested seven members of five alleged gangs involved in street crime, theft and burglary, recovering stolen cash, nine mobile phones, a stolen rickshaw, five stolen motorcycles and weapons from their possession.
According to police spokesperson, New Town Police held the alleged gang leader and recovered a stolen rickshaw, five motorcycles, cash, four mobile phones and a weapon from his possession.
Likewise, Pirwadhai Police arrested three alleged members of two gangs involved in street crime and theft and recovered stolen cash and three mobile phones.
Saddar Bairooni Police arrested a suspect allegedly involved in a house burglary and recovered stolen cash and a mobile phone.
In Gujar Khan, police arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in theft and burglary and recovered stolen cash and a mobile phone. Police said the arrested suspects would be challaned before the court with solid evidence.
