PHC summons exam controller over zero marks in Biology paper

PESHAWAR, Aug 21 (APP): Peshawar High Court here Friday summoned the Controller of Examinations over a case in which a student was awarded zero marks in the theory paper of Biology and directed that the student’s answer sheet be presented before the court for examination.
According to the written order issued following the previous hearing, the court directed the controller of examinations to produce the Biology theory paper of student Abdul Moeiz for inspection.
During the hearing, the petitioner’s lawyers argued that the student had secured an A+ grade in all other subjects but was awarded zero marks in the Biology theory paper.
The lawyers expressed concerns over the awarding of zero marks and requested the court to examine the student’s answer sheet and review the matter.
The court subsequently summoned the relevant Biology answer sheet from the Controller of Examinations and adjourned further proceedings until August 25.
