FAISALABAD, Aug 21 (APP): Faisalabad Development Authority’s enforcement team demolished illegal structures and other constructions in an illegal housing scheme, here on Friday.
The team, during an inspection of private housing schemes, found Hina Residential, which was being constructed on the lands of Chak No 225-RB, Satiana Road and demolished all structures through heavy machinery.
Meanwhile, Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry said that protecting the interests of citizens and discouraging illegal housing schemes are among the top priorities of the authority. He directed the officers concerned to make the operations against illegal housing schemes and unapproved constructions more effective and take legal action against any violation as per the law.
The FDA administration has also asked the citizens to verify the legal status, approval and NOC before buying or investing in any housing scheme to avoid financial loss, legal complications or other difficulties in the future.
In this regard, they should contact the relevant department of the authority, he added.
