ISLAMABAD, Aug 21 (APP):Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday commended Pakistan’s security forces for carrying out successful intelligence-based operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying the forces demonstrated professionalism by eliminating 49 militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan.
The minister said the operations dealt a major blow to terrorist networks and reflected the commitment of security personnel in safeguarding the country.
In his statement, Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their role in preventing terrorist plans and maintaining security in the affected regions. He said the successful operations showed the capability of intelligence and law-enforcement institutions working together against militancy.
The interior minister paid tribute to the personnel who took part in the operations, saying the nation takes pride in the courage and dedication of its security forces. He acknowledged their sacrifices and contributions in confronting threats posed by terrorist groups.
Naqvi stated that the elimination of 49 militants was the result of coordinated intelligence efforts and operational planning.
