BISE Hyderabad holds ceremony to recognize top-position students

HYDERABAD, Aug 21 (APP): A ceremony was held at Shahbaz Hall Hyderabad to honor students who secured prominent positions in the annual Matriculation and Intermediate examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Hyderabad.

Commissioner Hyderabad Division Fayaz Hussain Abbasi attended the event, Chairman BISE Faqir Muhammad Lakho, Board Secretary Mushraf Rajput, teachers, parents, board officials and position holding students also attended the program.

Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner Fayaz Hussain Abbasi congratulated the position holders, their parents and teachers, saying that the students’ achievements were the result of their hard work, talent and dedication, combined with the encouragement, guidance and support of their parents and teachers.

He said that today’s students were the future and architects of society, and providing them with encouragement and opportunities to develop their abilities was a collective responsibility. He appreciated the efforts of parents and teachers in motivating students to achieve academic excellence.

The Commissioner said that the position holders had demonstrated their abilities through their hard work and commitment, adding that such ceremonies played an important role in encouraging students and motivating them to pursue further achievements.

Chairman BISE Faqir Lakho congratulated the position holders and their parents and said that encouragement played a fundamental role in students’ success. He said that outstanding students were being recognized with gold and silver medals, cash prizes and certificates of appreciation in recognition of their academic performance.

According to a handout, in the Matriculation Science Group, Sara Nisar from Tando Allahyar secured first position, while Wajeeullah Khan of Deaf Reach Rashidabad secured first position in the Matriculation General Group. In the Intermediate Pre-Medical Group, Manahil Khan of Army Public School secured first position.

Students securing first, second and third positions in the Intermediate Home Economics and Commerce Groups were also honoured with medals, cash prizes and certificates of appreciation.

A total of 15 first-position holders from the Matriculation Science, Matriculation General, Pre-Medical, Commerce and Home Economics groups were awarded gold medals, a cash prize of Rs50,000 and certificates of appreciation. Students securing second position received silver medals and Rs25,000, while those securing third position were awarded medals and Rs15,000, along with certificates of appreciation.

The ceremony was organized to recognize academic excellence and encourage students to continue striving for higher achievements in education and other fields.
