Qaiser Sheikh calls for unity among lawmakers, focuses on public issues
ISLAMABAD, Aug 21 (APP):Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh urged all political parties to sit together, resolve their differences through dialogue and work collectively in the larger national interest.
Speaking to the media outside the Parliament House on Friday, Sheikh said parliamentary debates should revolve around matters affecting the people rather than internal political disputes.
“The main discussion should be about improving the lives of the people and addressing the law and order situation,” he stressed.
Sheikh also called for a Charter of Economy to ensure economic and political stability, saying a mechanism should be developed to promote the prosperity and well-being of the people.
