ISLAMABAD, Aug 21 (APP):Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday paid tribute to victims of terrorism and the families of those who lost their lives, marking the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism.
He said Pakistan stands with all those affected by terrorism and stressed the need for collective international action to eliminate the threat.
In his message, Mohsin Naqvi saluted the sacrifices of all victims and martyrs of terrorism. He said terrorism has no religion, nationality, or borders and must be recognized as a crime against humanity.
The minister said the sacrifices made by victims of terrorism will always be remembered and remain an important part of the global struggle against violence. He added that those who laid down their lives in the fight against terrorism hold a place of honor in the nation’s memory.
Mohsin Naqvi said the government stands with the families of terrorism victims and will continue to support them. He emphasized that the international community must work together and take effective measures to eliminate terrorism and prevent future attacks.
Referring to Pakistan’s role in countering terrorism, the minister said the country has made significant sacrifices in the fight against militant violence. He noted that the services rendered by martyrs and victims can never be fully repaid and deserve lasting recognition.
He said the sacrifices of those affected by terrorism continue to strengthen Pakistan’s determination to combat the threat. According to the minister, the fight against terrorism is not limited to a few countries but is a shared responsibility of the entire world.
Mohsin Naqvi reaffirmed that Pakistan remains committed to efforts aimed at building a peaceful and secure world. He said the country’s resolve against terrorism remains firm and unchanged.
The minister also expressed solidarity with terrorism victims across the world and said Pakistan joins the international community in honoring their memory and supporting their families.
