CJP Yahya Afridi, FCC CJ Aminuddin Khan attend reception at Supreme Court Lahore Registry

Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi and Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan were accorded a warm reception at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry on Thursday.

LAHORE, Aug 20 (APP): Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi and Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan were accorded a warm reception at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry on Thursday.
The reception was hosted by Pakistan Bar Council Vice Chairman Pir Masood Chishti. Upon their arrival at the Lahore Registry, the two chief justices were warmly welcomed by members of the legal fraternity.
The event was attended by Supreme Court judges Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Justice Ayesha A. Malik and Justice Ali Baqar Najafi.
Speaking on the occasion, Pir Masood Chishti briefed the chief justices on various issues being faced by lawyers. He also requested the Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court to provide video-link facilities for the constitutional bench at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry to facilitate lawyers and litigants.
Pakistan Bar Council members Hafeez-ur-Rehman Chaudhry, Tahir Nasrullah Warraich and Saqib Akram Gondal also attended the reception.
Senior Advocate Mohsin Waraich, Deputy Attorney General Raja Khurram Shehzad, Deputy Attorney General Sonia Jadoon and Assistant Attorney General Chaudhry Usman were also present.
