ISLAMABAD, Aug 19 (APP):Four key reports relating to elections, the economy, fiscal affairs and child rights were presented in the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The Annual Report of the Election Commission of Pakistan for 2025 was presented under sub-section (2) of Section 16 of the Election Act, 2017.
The Half-Year Report of the State Bank of Pakistan’s Board of Directors on the state of Pakistan’s economy for 2025-26 was also presented under sub-section (2) of Section 39 of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956.
The first biannual report on monitoring the implementation of the 7th National Finance Commission (NFC) Award for July-December 2024 was also presented under clause (3B) of Article 160 of the Constitution.
The Annual Report of the National Commission on the Rights of the Child (NCRC) for April 2025 to March 2026 was also presented in the House under sub-section (1) of Section 17 of the National Commission on the Rights of the Child Act, 2017.
