The Rupee on Wednesday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.60, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 277.61.
Rupee gains 01 paisa against Dollar
ISLAMABAD, Aug 19 (APP): The Rupee on Wednesday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.60, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 277.61.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278.10 and Rs 278.75, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 0.78 and closed at Rs 321.99 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 321.21, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen went up by 01 paisa and closed at Rs 1.74, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 0.80 and closed at Rs 376.25 compared to the previous day’s Rs 375.45.
The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham and the Saudi Riyal came down by 01 paisa each to close at Rs 75.58 and Rs 73.93, respectively.
