MUZAFFARGARH, Aug 19 (APP):District Police Officer (DPO) Layyah has taken notice of an incident involving two police personnel who allegedly conducted a raid in a private vehicle without wearing police uniforms and without following the prescribed official protocol.
According to police sources, the DPO ordered departmental action against the two officials after the matter came to light. The personnel allegedly carried out the raid while traveling in a private vehicle and without their official uniforms.
The DPO directed that departmental proceedings be initiated against both officials and made it clear that all police personnel must perform their duties strictly in accordance with the law and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Police sources said that further investigation into the incident was underway, and action against those found responsible will be taken in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
