Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) Chief Executive Officer Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt said on Tuesday that at present, there is no no-go area in LESCO and recovery is 100 percent while overbilling is zero.
LESCO Chief claims 100pc recovery, no overbilling

LAHORE, Aug 18 (APP): Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) Chief Executive Officer Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt said on Tuesday that at present, there is no no-go area in LESCO and recovery is 100 percent while overbilling is zero.
He claimed this during his visit to Lahore Press Club, where he was received by President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari. On this occasion, LESCO’s performance, recovery, overbilling and issues of electricity supply to consumers were discussed.
The LESCO chief added that recovery of ten-year-old arrears of Rs. 93 billion has been started, this amount has been withheld by big industrialists in various ways.
Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt said that transformers damaged due to overloading are being replaced, while in the area where power was cut off for more than four to five hours, the concerned officer will be responsible.
He said that a complete ban has been imposed on private repairs of transformers and effective measures are underway to provide better electricity to consumers.
