SIALKOT, Aug 18 (APP):Grand Asian University Sialkot (GAUS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
with LEAP-ND (Autism Resource Center, Gujrat), marking an important step toward promoting
inclusive education, community development, awareness, and opportunities
for individuals with special needs.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives, including Syed Khizar Mehdi, Chairman of LEAP-ND (Autism Resource Center, Gujrat); Sundas Khawar, Executive Director of LEAP-ND; and Syed Raza Mehndi, Deputy Director of the University of Gujrat.
The collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation between academia, specialized support services, and the wider community. Under the partnership, the institutions will explore opportunities for knowledge-sharing, capacity building, research, training, awareness, and community engagement.
The MoU reflects a shared commitment to creating a more inclusive society where individuals with special needs can access greater educational, social, and professional opportunities.
