RAWALPINDI, Aug 17 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir on Monday directed concerned officers to expedite the preparation of proposed development schemes to be financed through own-source revenue and submit cases to the competent authorities after completing all formalities.
He issued the directives while chairing a video-link meeting with Assistant Commissioners to review the proposed development projects in various tehsils.
The meeting, attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Development and Finance and other relevant officers, reviewed the preparation, feasibility, estimated costs and other requirements of the proposed schemes.
The DC directed officers to prioritise feasible projects based on public needs and priorities and complete their estimates and technical details to avoid unnecessary delays in the approval process.
