Four PHC judges take oath as permanent judges

PESHAWAR, Aug 17 (APP):Four judges of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday took oath as permanent judges.
Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, Justice S.M. Attique Shah, administered the oath to Justice Farah Jamshed, Justice Sabitullah, Justice Inam Khan and Justice Aurangzeb Khan during a ceremony held at the high court.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by judges of the Peshawar High Court, judicial officers and lawyers. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Advocate General Shah Faisal Utmankhel, Additional Attorney General Sanaullah, High Court Bar President Amin-ur-Rehman Yousafzai and members of the KP Bar Council were also present.
Lawyers and members of the legal fraternity congratulated the four judges on their appointment as permanent judges.
The induction of the four permanent judges is expected to further strengthen the judicial functioning of the Peshawar High Court.
