SIALKOT, Aug 17 (APP):An eight-member trade delegation from Sialkot departed for South Korea to explore new international markets for the city’s export products and strengthen trade ties with the foreign business community.
While talking to APP, Chairman Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Departmental Committee on Fair and Exhibition Qaiser Baig said the delegation would hold meetings with business leaders and importers during its visit.
Chairman SCCI Departmental Committee on Fair and Exhibition Qaiser Baig said the delegation would seek new business opportunities for Sialkot’s major export sectors, including sports goods, leather products, surgical instruments and other manufactured items.
Qaiser Baig expressed hope that the visit would help increase Sialkot’s exports, open new international markets and pave the way for new business partnerships between local exporters and South Korean companies.
The visit was primarily aimed at strengthening trade relations with the South Korean business community, exploring new markets for Sialkot-made products and identifying fresh export opportunities.
The delegation was being led by former Chairman of the Surgical Instruments Manufacturers and Association Pakistan (SIMAP) Ashfaq Mahay.
