SIALKOT, Aug 17 (APP):Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) on Monday offered its students the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2027 in Canada, aiming to expand the potential of top-tier research talent and enhance the university’s research capabilities, according to a university press release.
The 12-week initiative connects post-secondary students, postdoctoral fellows and academic researchers from eligible international institutions with Canadian faculty members, fostering research collaboration and advancing innovative projects.
The programme includes round-trip airfare to Canada, transportation from the airport to accommodation, a housing stipend, a student enrollment fee stipend, and allowances for food and incidental expenses. Participants also receive emergency health insurance.
The programme further offers support from student mentors, access to industry events and professional development courses.
According to the university, programme details, eligibility criteria, benefits and deadlines are subject to change.
