SNGPL disconnects four more meters,checks 60 meters
MULTAN, Aug 16 (APP):In a bid to curb gas theft and other illegal practices,the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG Control Task Force intensified its operation and disconnected four more gas meters in different areas of the city,here on Sunday.
According to details,one meter earlier removed by the company was recovered from a consumer while three other meters were disconnected for using compressors to illegally draw gas.
The task force also conducted door-to-door checking of 60 consumers during the operation.
The measures were part of SNGPL’s ongoing efforts to curb gas theft and ensure quality and uninterrupted gas supply to consumers.
