ISLAMABAD, Aug 12 (APP):Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji.

He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the leadership and people of China on the demise of the former Premier, saying that Pakistan has lost a true and steadfast friend.

The Speaker has said that his thoughts and sympathies are with the bereaved family during this difficult hour and that he shared their grief and sorrow.

Expressing solidarity with Chinese President Xi Jinping and the people of China, Ayaz Sadiq said that the valuable services rendered by former Premier Zhu Rongji towards strengthening the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China would always be remembered and cherished.
