Govt revises petrol, diesel prices
ISLAMABAD, Aug 12 (APP):The federal government on Wednesday revised the prices of petroleum products, increasing the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs0.54 per litre while reducing petrol price by Rs0.94 per litre.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the revised prices will take effect from August 13, 2026.
The price of HSD has been increased from Rs382.25 to Rs382.79 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of motor spirit (petrol) has been reduced from Rs325.92 to Rs324.98 per litre.
The government revised the prices under the petroleum pricing mechanism.
