PESHAWAR, Aug 12 (APP):Senior columnist and renowned writer, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi (Sitara Imtiaz) met Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and presented his new book ‘Yaqeen-e-Mukham’ to him.
The book ‘Yaqeen-e-Mukham’ is a collection of 100 selected columns written on various important national, political, social, economic and public topics during his writing journey.
The author, while analysing the current situation in his columns, has highlighted national and social problems as well as their possible solutions and reform aspects.
Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi new book is an important collection of his long journalistic and literary services, which combines his observations, experiences and intellectual analyses on situations and events of different periods.
On this occasion, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi said that the columns included in Yaqeen-e-Mukham represent important periods of his literary journey. He said that for him, columnism was not just a reflection of situations and events, but an effective means of promoting awareness, positive thinking and serious dialogue on national issues in society.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi congratulated Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi on the presentation of the book and appreciated his journalistic and literary services.
He said that there was a dire need to promote books and reading in society, while writers played an important role in raising public awareness and highlighting social issues through their writings.
