Rescue 1122, TDCP hold joint rescue, emergency drills in Murree
Murree, Aug 12 (APP):Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 Murree, in collaboration with Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), conducted joint rescue and emergency drills at New Murree, Patriata.
The drills were supervised by DGM North/Murree Muazzam Nazir and District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Murree Engineer Kamran Rashid.
During the exercise, practical demonstrations were conducted on first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), medical emergencies, firefighting and chairlift emergency response procedures.
The exercise aimed to strengthen coordination and communication between the two institutions and enhance their emergency response capabilities to ensure timely and effective assistance to tourists in case of any emergency at the resort.
District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Murree Engineer Kamran Rashid said the joint rescue and emergency drills would help enhance the professional capabilities of both institutions.
He said practical demonstrations of first aid, CPR, medical emergencies, firefighting and chairlift emergency response would help rescue personnel improve their preparedness and assess their immediate response capabilities during emergencies.
