The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone arrested two suspects for allegedly violating the Copyright Act during raids conducted in various areas of the provincial capital.

LAHORE, Aug 12 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone arrested two suspects for allegedly violating the Copyright Act during raids conducted in various areas of the provincial capital.

According to a spokesperson, the team conducted raids in Bhatta Chowk and Thokar Niaz Baig and arrested Muhammad Shahid and Zahid Abbas.A large quantity of counterfeit products bearing the names of well-known registered companies was recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.

The suspects were allegedly manufacturing and selling products of registered companies without obtaining permission from the concerned companies, the spokesperson added.

The arrested suspects were taken into custody and further investigation was underway.
