Rawalpindi gets free dialysis centre for deserving patients
RAWALPINDI, Aug 11 (APP):A free dialysis centre formally inaugurated at the Al-Quds Medical Centre on Saifullah Lodhi Road under the auspices of the Markazi Muslim League’s Welfare Department here on Tuesday.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Chairman Welfare Department of Markazi Muslim League Chaudhry Shafiq-ur-Rehman Waraich, President Markazi Muslim League Rawalpindi Division Ehsanullah Mansoor, Rawalpindi President Shahbaz Rajput, General Secretary Engineer Mubeen Siddiqui, CEO Health Rawalpindi Dr. Ehsan Ghani, President Markazi Muslim League Islamabad Inam-ur-Rehman Kamboh, Vice President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce Fahad Barlas, and other notable figures.
The newly established Al-Quds Free Dialysis Centre aims to provide free dialysis treatment to deserving patients facing financial difficulties, helping them access essential medical care without the burden of treatment costs.
The speakers emphasized that a healthy population is the foundation of a strong and stable Pakistan.
They said the Markazi Muslim League’s Welfare Department would continue expanding healthcare services for the people of Rawalpindi.
The Al-Quds Welfare Foundation is already operating several welfare projects, including a free eye centre, free dispensary, medical laboratory and ambulance service. The free dialysis centre is the foundation’s fifth major welfare initiative.
Participants appreciated the initiative and expressed their resolve to further expand efforts aimed at serving humanity and providing healthcare facilities to those most in need.
