SP Saddar chairs crime review meeting, directs officers to expedite investigations
RAWALPINDI, Aug 11 (APP):Superintendent of Police SP Saddar Anum Sher chaired a crime review meeting here on Tuesday and directed the officials to expedite investigation.
The meeting was attended by SDPOs and SHOs of Saddar Division.
The matters related to the challan ratio of cases, pending challans, provision of justice to citizens and measures to control crime were discussed.
During the meeting, the SHOs were directed to expedite the disposal of cases under investigation and prepare challans to ensure their timely submission to the courts.
The SDPOs were instructed to personally and closely supervise the investigation of serious criminal cases.
Officers were further directed to accelerate action against proclaimed offenders (POs) involved in serious and other cases and ensure their immediate arrest.
SP Anum Sher also ordered the officers to make the patrolling system more effective and ensure an immediate response to calls received on Emergency Helpline 15.
She directed the officials to take all possible measures to prevent drug dealing and aerial firing in the division.
SP Saddar Anum Sher said that the provision of justice to citizens visiting police stations must be ensured at all costs. She also directed officers to clear all pending applications and resolve citizens’ complaints without delay.
