PM reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to deepening multifaceted partnership with Kazakhstan

ISLAMABAD, Aug 10 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Monday, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening the multifaceted partnership with Kazakhstan, including through enhanced regional connectivity, expanded trade linkages, and closer collaboration in the fields of energy, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
The prime minister expressed these views during a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin, who upon completion of his tenure, paid a farewell call on the prime minister at the PM House, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, SAPM Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Amb. Amna Baloch were also present.
The prime minister appreciated the Kazakh Ambassador’s valuable contribution towards further strengthening the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan during his tenure.
He especially acknowledged the Ambassador’s role in facilitating the visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Pakistan in February, which elevated bilateral relations to the level of a Strategic Partnership and conveyed his warm regards to President Tokayev.
Ambassador Kistafin thanked the prime minister for the cooperation and assistance extended to him during his tenure and expressed confidence that the trajectory of Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations would continue to grow under the strategic partnership framework.
The prime minister wished the Kazakh Ambassador success in his future assignment.
