A suspected drug dealer was killed and three other suspects were arrested after being injured in four separate police encounters in different parts of the district, the police said Monday.

GUJRANWALA, Aug 10 (APP):A suspected drug dealer was killed and three other suspects were arrested after being injured in four separate police encounters in different parts of the district, the police said Monday.
During an exchange of fire with a police team from Sabzi Mandi police station, a wanted drug dealer was killed , the police said.
The deceased was identified as Zeeshan alias Kaka, they added.
The police said that hashish 1,280 grams and an illegal weapon were recovered from his possession, while three of his accomplices managed to escape.
In another encounter, the Civil Lines police arrested Abdul Rehman alias Kala Gujjar, a notorious suspect with a record in murder and drug trafficking cases, after he was injured while allegedly trying to escape a police checkpoint.
The police recovered hashish 3.6 kilograms and an illegal weapon from him, while his accomplice fled from the scene.
In a separate incident, Sadar Kamoke police arrested Arsalan alias Ali after he was injured while allegedly attempting to flee a police checkpoint.
He was wanted in 13 cases involving robbery, theft and motorcycle theft and was also allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
The police said drugs were recovered from his possession, while an accomplice escaped.
The Dhale police arrested another suspect, identified as Ali Hassan, after he was injured while allegedly attempting to flee during a police raid.
The police said he was wanted in several theft cases and that an illegal weapon was recovered from his possession.
