ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (APP): Minister of State for Education Wajiha Qamar has described the Makkah Agreement as a moment of happiness and pride for Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah, saying the decision demonstrated how strong leadership could create new opportunities and possibilities for nations.
She said Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had demonstrated through the decision that strong leadership could open new avenues and create opportunities for nations.
Wajiha Qamar said the entire nation was proud of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their efforts and leadership, adding that three important countries of the Muslim world would now stand united like an “iron wall” in the face of any threat.
She said the message emerging from the sacred land of Makkah could mark the beginning of greater unity among the Muslim Ummah.
The minister said Saudi Arabia’s strong economy, Türkiye’s modern defence capabilities and Pakistan’s experienced military strength, working together, could become a guarantee of peace and prosperity.
“We express our pride and, with humility, thank Allah Almighty for this development,” she said.
