RAWALPINDI, Aug 09 (APP): Superintendent of Police SP Rawal Bedar Bakht Gondal visited New Town, Banni, Waris Khan and Ganjmandi police stations and conducted a detailed inspection of their front desks, records, lock-ups, buildings and other relevant matters.
He directed the concerned officers to take immediate action, in accordance with the law, on all pending applications and ensure the timely resolution of citizens’ complaints.
“Police stations are a fundamental unit for the provision of justice, and immediate steps are being taken to further improve their functioning,” the SP Rawal said.
He emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the foremost responsibility of the police.
SP Rawal Bedar Bakht Gondal further said that surprise visits would continue to improve service delivery and ensure effective checks and balances at police stations.
