HESCO officials discuss action against line losses

A meeting of the top brass of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) held here on Saturday discussed action against line losses and monitoring of the zero load shedding feeders.

HYDERABAD, Aug 08 (APP): A meeting of the top brass of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) held here on Saturday discussed action against line losses and monitoring of the zero load shedding feeders.
Chaired by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faizullah Dahiri at his office, the meeting was attended by Chief Operating Officer Aijaz Ahmed Shaikh, Chief Commercial Officer K Mukhtiar and other senior officers.
The CEO observed that 68 feeders were declared exempt from load shedding in the last financial year which ended on June 30.
Dahiri underlined the need to restore trust of the consumers by providing them better services.
The CEO directed the officers to ensure that the public hearings were conducted in all subdivisions on a daily basis from 11 am to 1 pm so that the consumers could register their complaints and share their problems for early solution. He emphasized on the need of continuing indiscriminate action against electricity theft to contain the line losses.
Dahiri said the officials should work with a consumer-friendly approach.
