PMD predicts strong winds, thunderstorms across Punjab

LAHORE, Aug 08 (APP): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted strong winds and thunderstorms across the Punjab province.

According to the weather conditions on Saturday, the weather is expected to remain hot and humid in most parts of the country, however, strong winds and thunderstorms are likely to occur at few places Punjab.

The weather was hot and humid in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours (from 5 pm yesterday to 5 pm today). However, rain with strong winds and thundershowers is expected at a few places in Punjab.

Likewise, hot and humid weather is expected in most districts of Punjab. However, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thundershowers at a few places in Murree, Galiat, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara and Sheikhupura.

In addition, the weather is expected to remain hot and humid in most districts of Sindh, while the coastal areas are likely to remain partly cloudy.
