LAHORE, Aug 08 (APP): Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has welcomed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, describing it as a historic achievement for peace, security and unity among Muslim countries.
In her reaction to the agreement on Saturday, Azma Bokhari said every Pakistani was holding their head high with pride over the development.
She said future generations would remember the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement as a glorious chapter of unity and cooperation.
The provincial minister said Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had taken a historic step towards promoting peace and security.
Azma Bokhari congratulated the Muslim Ummah on what she described as a historic achievement and expressed hope that the agreement would further strengthen cooperation and unity among the three brotherly countries.
