LHC places services of 3 judges at disposal of federal govt

The Lahore High Court (LHC), with the approval of Chief Justice Aalia Neelum, on Friday placed the services of three district and sessions judges at the disposal of the federal government for posting to specialised judicial forums and issued a formal notification in this regard.

LAHORE, Aug 07 (APP): The Lahore High Court (LHC), with the approval of Chief Justice Aalia Neelum, on Friday placed the services of three district and sessions judges at the disposal of the federal government for posting to specialised judicial forums and issued a formal notification in this regard.
According to the notification, Iftikhar-ul-Nabi has been appointed Judge of Banking Court No. 2, Faisalabad, while Muhammad Umar has been posted as Judge of Banking Court No. 7, Lahore.
Gul Abbas has been appointed Presiding Officer of the Intellectual Property Tribunal, Faisalabad, where he will hear cases relating to intellectual property rights.
The notification directs all three judicial officers to assume charge of their new assignments by August 10 and submit compliance reports to the relevant authorities.
