Deputy Commissioner Yasir Imran and other officials were present on the occasion.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the participants stressed the importance of protecting forests and expanding tree cover to promote a greener environment, improve air quality and ensure a sustainable future for coming generations.

The speakers urged the public to actively participate in tree plantation efforts, describing afforestation as essential for environmental conservation and long-term ecological balance.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the country’s peace, security, prosperity and development.
