IHC revises transport monetization allowance for Judicial Officers

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a notification revising the transport monetization allowance for judicial officers and High Court officers, increasing the allowance rates for officers in Grades 17 to 22 with effect from July 1, 2026.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 06 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a notification revising the transport monetization allowance for judicial officers and High Court officers, increasing the allowance rates for officers in Grades 17 to 22 with effect from July 1, 2026.
According to the notification issued by the Registrar’s Office, officers in Grade 22 will now receive a transport monetization allowance of Rs250,000 per month, while the allowance for Grade 21 officers has been fixed at Rs195,000.
The revised allowance for Grade 20 officers has been set at Rs175,000, followed by Rs150,000 for Grade 19 officers. Officers in Grade 18 will receive Rs100,000, while those in Grade 17 will be entitled to Rs60,000 per month.
The notification further stated that the additional expenditure arising from the revised allowances would be met from the budget allocated for the Islamabad High Court and the District Judiciary for the financial year 2026-27.
