BISE Faisalabad announces Matric results, pass percentage 74.69

FAISALABAD, Aug 06 (APP):The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad on Thursday announced the results of the First Annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2026, with an overall pass percentage of 74.69.

A total of 192,925 candidates appeared in the examination, of whom 144,089 were declared successful.

BISE Chairman Dr Rana Binyamin officially announced the results by uploading them to the board’s website during a ceremony held at the board auditorium. Secretary Prof Dr Saleem Taqi Shah, Controller of Examinations Rana Attiq Ur Rehman, heads of educational institutions, parents, relatives of position holders and members of civil society attended the event.

Addressing the ceremony, the chairman congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to remain humble and continue striving for excellence. He also encouraged those who could not achieve their desired results not to lose hope, saying every challenge offers an opportunity to learn and improve.

He appreciated the dedication of students, the support of parents and teachers, and the efforts of examination staff, officers and examiners in ensuring the examinations were conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner.

Later, prizes were distributed among the position holders.

According to the result gazette, Umna Salahuddin, daughter of Muhammad Salahuddin Shah, secured the overall first position by obtaining 1,191 out of 1,200 marks. She was a student of City Grammar School (Girls Wing), New Civil Lines, Faisalabad.While Ramin Fatima, daughter of Muhammad Asghar Ali, stood second with 1,190 marks. She was a student of Divisional Public School for Girls, Rajana Road, Samundri.

Muhammad Raif Abdul Ahad, son of Shahzad Ahmad Jamal, secured the third position with 1,189 marks. He was a student of Iman Public Boys High School, 75-JB, Sohl, Faisalabad.
