COMSATS students, faculty delegation conducts study tour to NAB Multan

A delegation comprising students and faculty members of COMSATS University Vehari campus embarked on a study tour to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) here Wednesday as the Multan office of anti-corruption institution continued its campaign against corruption involving students, the builders of country’s future.

MULTAN, Aug 05 (APP): A delegation comprising students and faculty members of COMSATS University Vehari campus embarked on a study tour to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) here Wednesday as the Multan office of anti-corruption institution continued its campaign against corruption involving students, the builders of country’s future.
In line with the vision of the Chairman NAB and the directives of the Director General NAB Multan, the NAB Multan continues to undertake effective initiatives aimed at combating corruption, promoting transparency, and enhancing public awareness, NAB Multan spokesman said in a statement.
The study tour was organized by Awareness & Prevention Wing of NAB Multan. Additional Directors Muhammad Asghar, Tauseef Hanif, and deputy director Ajmal Hameed delivered detailed briefings on the establishment of NAB, its legal mandate, organizational structure,
accountability framework, and bureau’s ongoing efforts to combat corruption.
The participants were also sensitized on the social, economic, and institutional consequences of corruption, while emphasizing the vital role of youth in eliminating this menace. NAB officers highlighted that the younger generation can play a pivotal role in building a corruption-free Pakistan by upholding integrity, respecting the rule of law, and promoting ethical values.
The tour concluded with a Question/Answer session wherein NAB officers responded to various questions raised by the participants and provided comprehensive information to them.
