Hot weather to persist across Balochistan; isolated rainfall expected in northern districts

The Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) Quetta has forecast mainly hot weather across most districts of Balochistan, with very hot weather likely in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Noshki, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Sibi, parts of Khuzdar, and the Naseerabad division.

QUETTA, Aug 05 (APP): The Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) Quetta has forecast mainly hot weather across most districts of Balochistan, with very hot weather likely in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Noshki, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Sibi, parts of Khuzdar, and the Naseerabad division.
According to the RMC, maximum temperature was recorded at 44°C in Sibi, while the minimum stood at 30°C in Gwadar. Other notable readings included Panjgur at 40.5°C, Usta Muhammad at 39.0°C, Khuzdar at 38.5°C, Quetta at 37.5°C, and Zhob at 34.5°C.
The forecast indicates partly cloudy weather with rain-wind and thunderstorms at isolated places in Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhail, Kohlu, Duki, Loralai, and adjoining areas. Heavy falls are expected at one or two locations. Occasionally strong gusty winds are also likely in most parts of the province.
Authorities have advised residents, particularly in vulnerable districts, to remain cautious of sudden weather changes and localized flooding risks due to heavy downpours.
