Pakistan’s Leadership Committed to Peaceful Resolution of Kashmir Dispute:Says Shabbir Ahmed

Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Shabbir Ahmed Usmani on Wednesday expressed confidence that the longstanding Jammu and Kashmir dispute would be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmir cause.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 05 (APP):Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Shabbir Ahmed Usmani on Wednesday expressed confidence that the longstanding Jammu and Kashmir dispute would be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmir cause.
Addressing the Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir gathering at Constitution Avenue, Usmani reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to the Kashmiri people and expressed hope for a just and peaceful resolution of the longstanding dispute.
He said Pakistan would continue standing with the Kashmiri people and supporting their legitimate struggle for their rights.
Usmani appreciated Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam for his commitment to the Kashmir cause and personal supervision of arrangements for the Youm-e-Istehsal observance.
He said Amir Muqam, despite his hectic engagements and fatigue, had visited the venue late at night and personally reviewed preparations for the gathering.
Usmani also appreciated Patron-in-Chief Pakistan Sweet Home Zamurrad Khan for his continued contribution to Youm-e-Istehsal activities and efforts to involve the younger generation in expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
He thanked Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, APHC Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and other Hurriyat leaders and dignitaries for participating in the gathering.
The Coordinator also acknowledged the efforts of officials of the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Islamabad Police, Islamabad Traffic Police and other institutions for their contribution to the successful organization of the event.
Usmani paid tribute to the officers and personnel of the security forces who had laid down their lives while defending the country and fighting terrorism, particularly in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He also paid tribute to the families of the martyrs, saying the nation would always remember the sacrifices rendered by those who laid down their lives for Pakistan.
Concluding his address, Usmani expressed confidence that the Kashmir dispute would ultimately be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and reiterated Pakistan’s continued support for their cause.
At the end of his address, Usmani led a collective prayer, seeking Almighty Allah’s help and support for the Kashmiri people, Pakistan and the peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
