Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday led a rally from the Governor House to mark Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, reaffirming Pakistan’s continued political, diplomatic and moral support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

PESHAWAR, Aug 05 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday led a rally from the Governor House to mark Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, reaffirming Pakistan’s continued political, diplomatic and moral support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The rally was attended by Adviser to the Chief Minister Tariq Saeed, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Manzoor Ahmad and people from different walks of life. The participants observed one minute of silence to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and denounce India’s unilateral actions of August 5, 2019.
Addressing the participants, Governor Kundi said Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir symbolized Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kashmiri people and renewed commitment to their right to self-determination.
He said the entire Muslim Ummah stood united in support of the Kashmiri freedom struggle, adding that every Pakistani stood shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
The Governor said the Pakistani nation was ready to make every sacrifice for the freedom of Kashmir and reiterated that Pakistan would continue extending political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiri people at every forum.
Kundi said Pakistan had always played a positive and constructive role in promoting peace, stability and responsible diplomacy in the region. He added that India’s attempts to portray Pakistan as a terrorist state had failed, while the international community had acknowledged Pakistan’s principled stance.
He said Pakistan was a peaceful country whose constructive role was recognized globally, adding that the country’s responsible, balanced and peace-oriented approach had been appreciated internationally even during periods of regional tensions.
The Governor said the Pakistani nation remained united on issues relating to national security, peace and the country’s vital interests, and would continue to support the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people.
