MUZAFFARGARH, Aug 05 (APP):Two people were killed after a passenger bus collided with a tractor-trolley near Dhori Adda in Layyah on Wednesday, Rescue 1122 sources said.
The passenger bus, travelling from Karachi to Mianwali, rammed into a tractor-trolley near Dhori Adda due to over-speeding. Consequently, the bus conductor and the tractor-trolley driver sustained critical injuries.
Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene promptly and shifted the conductor- Muhammad Zubair,27, resident of Mianwali to THQ Hospital, Chowk Azam, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The tractor-trolley driver -Muhammad Irfan, 25, resident of Muzaffargarh, was taken in critical condition to Rural Health Center Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Further investigation into the incident was underway.
