CM Maryam meets MPAs, discusses development, constituency issues

LAHORE, Aug 04 (APP):Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) from Khushab, Asif Malik and Zafar Abbas Khan called on Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif here on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed national political affairs, development projects and issues relating to the constituency.
On the occasion, the MPAs apprised the chief minister of the public issues being faced by the people of Khushab. CM Punjab assured them that the issues would be addressed.
The MPAs congratulated the chief minister on securing the overwhelming confidence of the people in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and thanked her for the launch of the electric bus service in Khushab. They also paid tribute to her for presenting 10 electric buses to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion, the CM said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was the most popular public party in Punjab as well as across the country and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. She said Punjab and the country would continue to move forward under the leadership of Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
She said a common voice was now being heard from all provinces that Punjab was performing the best in every sector, including law and order.
The MPAs said Maryam Nawaz, as chief minister, had carried out historic and record development works across the province. They said the launch of the electric bus service had won the hearts of the people. They said thousands of commuters were benefiting daily from the electric bus service operating between General Bus Stand Khushab and Garot Chowk, Mitha Tiwana and Mangwal.
The MPAs further said the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, had set new records in public service.
