ISLAMABAD, Aug 04 (APP):Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) on Tuesday announced an enhanced monthly honorarium for 18 national blind cricketers in recognition of their consistent performances in recent domestic competitions.
The revised honorarium will remain effective for six months, from July to December 2026, under the PBCC’s Player Support Programme. The council said the increase across all categories was aimed at supporting athletes in view of rising living costs.
Under the new structure, players in Category A will receive Rs 32,000 per month, Category B players will receive
Rs 26,000 per month, and Category C players will receive Rs 22,000 per month.
Badar Munir and Kamran Akhter have been placed in Category A. Nisar Ali, Mati Ullah, Muhammad Safdar and Muhammad Rashid have been placed in Category B.
The remaining 12 players have been placed in Category C. They are Muhammad Shahzaib, Moeen Aslam, Babar Ali, Niamat Ullah, Sana Ullah Marwat, Israr Hassan, Mohsin Khan, Junaid Khan, Talha Iqbal, Muhammad Idrees Saleem, Naeem Ullah and Anees Javed.
PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah congratulated all the selected players and wished them continued success in their upcoming national and international assignments.
