RAWALPINDI, Aug 04 (APP):Point-wise security evaluations, physical site visits along the main procession route and real-time surveillance checks via the central control room and Safe City network were conducted to enforce multi-tiered protection for Chehlum observances.
The joint security assessment was carried out by Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir along with City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Hassnain Haider on Tuesday.
During the operational visit, CPO Syed Hassnain Haider directed all field officers to maintain high-alert security, inspect deployment points, and optimize police communication protocols within the central monitoring grid.
He reiterated that all available departmental resources, CCTV surveillance units, and field personnel are being mobilized to ensure foolproof security throughout the religious processions and gatherings.
