RAWALPINDI, Aug 04 (APP):Enforcement squads conducted surprise inspections of hotels, restaurants, and commercial establishments to audit compliance with the Electronic Invoice Monitoring System (e-IMS) and prevent revenue leakages.
The anti-tax evasion campaign was executed under the supervision of PRA Commissioner Rawalpindi, Khalid Yameen Satti on Tuesday.
The Commissioner  warned that legal actions would intensify against entities issuing fake invoices or defaulting on provincial taxes. He instructed business owners to integrate e-IMS to document commercial transactions, issue verified tax invoices, and deposit dues into the national exchequer, reiterating that unannounced monitoring visits would continue across the region to meet target revenue collection goals.
