ICT Police review security at duty points during Chehlum
ISLAMABAD, Aug 03 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza and SSP Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Saud Khan on Monday visited various duty points across the federal capital to review security arrangements for Chehlum, directing police officers to remain on high alert and ensure effective checking throughout the security deployment.
An Islamabd Capital Territory (ICT) Police spokesperson told APP that the two senior officers inspected security arrangements at different duty points and met police personnel deployed on operational duties during Chehlum.
They reviewed the overall security measures and instructed officers to maintain heightened vigilance, strengthen checking at all designated points and remain fully alert to deal with any untoward situation.
Qazi Ali Raza and Saud Khan also directed the officers to discharge their professional responsibilities with dedication and ensure the effective implementation of all security measures until the completion of Chehlum-related duties.
ICT Police remained fully committed to maintaining law and order through proactive policing, close field supervision and comprehensive security arrangements to ensure the peaceful observance of Chehlum across the federal capital.
