ISLAMABAD, Aug 03 (APP):Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan on Monday visited the route of the main Chehlum procession in G-6 to review traffic management and security arrangements, directing officers to remain on high alert until the conclusion of the procession.
An ITP official told APP that the CTO Kainat inspected traffic deployment and security measures along the procession route and met officers performing duty at various points.
Kainat reviewed the arrangements made to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and facilitate mourners while maintaining public convenience.
She directed traffic officers to remain fully alert, effectively manage traffic movement and continue performing their duties with professionalism and vigilance until the peaceful conclusion of the procession.
The official said Islamabad Traffic Police remained fully committed to ensuring safe traffic management, close coordination with other law enforcement agencies and uninterrupted public facilitation throughout the Chehlum procession.
